Our Newest program
This is the newest program of the Chaverim project which began in November 2009, in cooperation with the UJIA Great Britain. In the program, five students from the Hebrew University with a background in music and in working with children volunteer once a week to work with children at risk in Beit haYeled Children's Home , Jerusalem. The program is directed by Ms. Elizabeth Kay, a certified music therapist and director of the Lord Taylor Music Therapy Clinic at the David Yellin Academic College. She meets bi-weekly with the student volunteers to supervise their work and coach them on how to work with the children. We are anxious to see how this program will turn out!
